1) Employment Specialist Description: Full time position primarily responsible for supporting the Project Search Program. Provides services by supporting classroom teacher, host businesses and students during internship rotations; assessing needs of customer’s skills to increase opportunity for employment. Assisting customers in searching for jobs/job leads; networking with employers; selecting, getting and maintaining job of choice through assistance with the application process, interviews and on the job training Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, one year supported employment experience working with I/DD required, possess a valid driver’s license and maintain safe driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age. Pay: $12/hr

 

2) Community Guide Description: Responsible for assisting in forming and sustaining a full range of relationships with natural and community supports that integrates the customer into the community.  Assistance in locating and assessing non-Medicaid community supports and resources.  Instruction and counselling to guide customer in problem solving and decision making.  Advocacy and collaborating with other individuals and organizations on behalf of the customer. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, one to two years  experience working with I/DD, experience working with volunteer and community building for those with developmental disabilities is preferred;  possess a valid driver’s license and maintain safe driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age. Pay: $12/hr

7) Job Development Coordinator Department: Vocational and Community Services Description: Coordinates employment opportunities by building a network of businesses as potential employers; provide instruction and support to Employment Specialists in job placement initiatives; works with customers to prepare job search portfolios; maintains communication to Stakeholders; maintains professional and technical knowledge. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; Minimum one year experience in employment services and/or marketing preferred; 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred; Excellent networking, communication and computer skills; Valid driver’s license, maintain safe driving record Salary: $37,000

8) Service Project Coordinator (Contractor) Department: Supervised Living Periodic Description: Part-time position, 20-30 hours per week flexible schedule. Staff will manage and provide In-Home Skill Building services to I/DD customers; Be responsible for completing the initial assessments, deliver face to face habilitative services for a set number of hours per week with customer and caregiver; Develop the Person Centered Plan and monthly progress notes Qualifications: Must be QDDP; Possess a baccalaureate degree; Two or more years of supervised direct habilitative experience working with persons with developmental disabilities; Have use of a vehicle 24 hours per day and be able to travel to the home of any customer at any time; Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record; Must be at least 18 years of age; Ability to perform essential job results, physical tasks and mental tasks. Salary: $29.00 per hour

21) Position: Weekend Relief Manager Department: Group Homes Description: This part-time position is responsible for providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Duties include supporting 4-6 customers with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and community outings. Qualifications: Applicant must have high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and a clear criminal background. Experience in Human Services preferred. Schedule: Friday 6pm- Sunday 6:30pm, every other weekend, overnights required. Pay: $9.65/hour

 

22) Position Code: Manager’s Assistant Department: Group Homes Description: This entry-level position is responsible for providing support to the Group Home Manager. Duties include supporting 3-6 customers with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and community outings. Qualifications: Applicant must have high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and a clear criminal background. Experience in Human Services preferred. Schedule: 10-20 hours per week; Monday-Thursday evenings around 5p-9p with some flexibility Pay: $9.00/hour
