Where Your Sponsorship Makes an Impact
The goal of InReach’s 3rd Annual SMASH Pickleball Tournament is to raise $50,000 to support two important initiatives that expand opportunities and independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout our community!
Creative Arts Transportation Initiative
A portion of the funds raised will be dedicated to purchasing a new transportation van for InReach’s Creative Arts Department. This vehicle will allow our talented Troupe 801 Puppeteers, a group of performers with intellectual and developmental disabilities, to safely transport puppeteers, props, and equipment to performances and community events across the Charlotte area. Increased transportation capacity will enable Troupe 801 to share their talents with more audiences while promoting the importance of inclusion to people all across Charlotte!
Employment Services Expansion
The remaining funds will support the hiring of an additional Employment Specialist. This position will provide individualized job development, placement, and ongoing support for people with disabilities seeking meaningful employment in our city. As the demand for employment services continues to grow, this investment will help more individuals secure competitive jobs, build financial independence, and achieve their personal career goals.
