A Day of Connection at the Friends of CIT Luncheon
InReach program participants recently enjoyed a meaningful day at the Friends of CIT Luncheon at the Amay James Community Center. The event provided a welcoming space to connect with law enforcement through fun, interactive “get to know you” activities that helped build trust and positive relationships.
Participants also shared a great lunch provided by Alliance Health and took part in a hands-on medic role-play, where they learned important safety skills.
The day was filled with engaging experiences, including touch-a-truck activities, time with therapy dogs, crafts, and concluded with a fun dance party. It was a memorable event that combined learning, connection, and community in a meaningful way.
