Introducing The 1974 Society
The 1974 Society is InReach’s young affiliates group, bringing together emerging leaders and young professionals across the Charlotte community who believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full, meaningful life.
Named in honor of the year InReach was founded, the 1974 Society creates opportunities to connect, build relationships, volunteer, and make a meaningful impact alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Through social events, service opportunities, networking, and fundraising, members of the 1974 Society are helping build a more inclusive Charlotte while carrying InReach’s mission into the next generation.
Volunteering

MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES
- Open to young professionals between 21 and 40
- Attend bi-monthly meetings
- Annual membership fee of $74- payment plans of $6 a month available
